Parents book month to month with their tutor for 15-minute sessions 3-5 days per week.
About Great Leaps Tutoring
Great Leaps Tutoring was launched in 2020 just before the pandemic led to school closures nationwide. Now we serve both public schools and private individuals with one-on-one instruction using the Great Leaps programs. We specialize in working with 2nd through 12th grade students who are behind in reading, many of which have been diagnosed with learning disabilities. Students work with our tutors for 15 minutes each day, 3 to 5 days per week.

Tutor Requirements
Two or more years of relevant experience working with students in a classroom, a homeschool environment, or private tutoring.
Must have a laptop with a webcam, microphone, and strong internet connection.
Tutors are subjected to a criminal background check before being hired for the safety of our students.
Available for at least 5 or more hours per week across 5 days to meet with students.
To be a successful Great Leaps tutor it is critical that you love working with students and have patience and a positive attitude! We prioritize individuals who are passionate about our mission and truly want to make a lifelong impact on their students’ lives.
Great Leaps tutors are responsible for meeting with their students on time and learning each student’s individual learning styles to adapt and meet their needs. At the end of each month, tutors are required to provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback to parents in addition to highlighting areas for improvement.
Lastly, tutors who work with Great Leaps are subcontractors and not employees. Tutors are paid based on the number of sessions they have completed with their student(s) after services have been provided.
